text-align: justify;">ISLAMABAD, Sep 20 (APP): Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) and State Bank of Pakistan have joined hands to develop a simplified procedure for payments of stipends to the beneficiaries of the programme.
text-align: justify;">The modalities for this task were discussed by the Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) , Senator Rubina Khalid and Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan, Jameel Ahmed in a meeting held on Friday.
text-align: justify;">The meeting aimed to discuss the establishment of a new, improved, and transparent system for disbursement of stipends to deserving women under the BISP.
text-align: justify;">Secretary BISP, Amer Ali Ahmad, was also present during the meeting.
text-align: justify;">During the discussion, Senator Rubina Khalid emphasized the vision of the President and Prime Minister for a transparent and dignified payment process for the poor women benefiting from the BISP.
text-align: justify;">Governor SBP assured that a simplified procedure for the payment of stipends to deserving women will be developed in mutual consultation between the BISP and the State Bank of Pakistan.
text-align: justify;">This will ensure that the beneficiaries receive their payments in a transparent and respectful manner.
